Introduction
Today, we are well established as the premier English-language private tertiary education institution in Northern Sumatera. We offer a variety of business and IT related programs which range from 6-course diploma programs in Management, Finance and Hospitality to Bachelor degree programs in Management and Accounting and a postgraduate MBA degree program. All of our programs are fully accredited and comply with Indonesian government regulation. Internationally, we cooperate with well-known education partners in Australia, Europe and America, most notably with the University of La Rioja (UNIR) of Spain, and Thomas University of United States. The number of full-time active students at our Medan Campus currently numbers well over 1500.
At IT&B Campus, we work hard to provide students with an education that fully meets the needs of the 21st Century. All our courses use English as medium of instruction, assuring that the students will have a sound understanding of the lingua franca of international business. Our courses are designed to challenge students to develop their full academic potential, to nourish their interest in acquiring new skills and knowledge, and to instill in them a quest for utmost professionalism and for achieving excellence in all endeavors. The Foundation of TAN realizes that so many smart, talented and creative students of Senior High School need a place to express themselves. So the Foundation built IT&B Campus which gives a place for the young generation to pursue their study as well as expressing themselves.

Message from Managing Director
I warmly welcome you to STIE IT&B Campus.
These are indeed challenging times. Globalization is progressing rapidly; economic uncertainties lead us from periods of booms to periods of busts in ever shorter cycles, and even the political picture of the world is undergoing changes at a greater rate than ever before. Our own country, Indonesia, is ideally placed to reap the benefits of globalization and economic changes; however, it requires highly skilled manpower that can lead the country to new heights of development while at the same time it is able to deal with all the challenges that lie in the way of such development. We, at IT&B Campus, are very aware of the skill requirements for such manpower and we have designed our curricula to meet these requirements fully.
We recognize that above all else, the functional and professional skills of our future economic and business leaders need to be complemented and enhanced by an entrepreneurial spirit that compels them to take advantage of opportunities which offer themselves and then perform their best to maximize the benefits that derive from them. For this reason, we have incorporated instruction in the important entrepreneurial skills in all our curricula; moreover, by emphasizing entrepreneurial ability as an essential in business education, we attempt to endow our students with the proper mindset under which the spirit of entrepreneurship can really flourish.
In order to align our curricula with the needs of a globalized environment, we have entered into cooperative agreements with several well-known and well-reputed international institutions. This enables us to benchmark our programs against international standards and gives us the opportunity to offer our students recognized international degrees in addition to the local degrees which are recognized and authorized by the Department of Education of the Government of Indonesia.
Our mission, as an educational institution, can easily be stated in the obligations that we have assumed toward our various stakeholders. To our country, and our society, we feel an obligation to provide it with a cadre of highly qualified professional graduates who are ready to assume leadership positions in the quest for a better future. To our students, we feel an obligation to provide them with the best education and all the necessary tools to create such a future, for themselves and for the rest of the country. Welcome to IT&B Campus!
We are an international standard campus located at Jalan Mahoney No. 16, right in the heart of Medan. We are committed to prepare students adequately for the challenges of contemporary business and work and provide the best educational options for our students to reach a bright and promising future.
In order to live up to our commitment and to provide students with the best education, we have developed a number of different educational programs which range from D3 (Diploma) programs all the way to a curriculum of postgraduate study leading to the award of an MBA/MM degree. All of our programs are taught in English, the lingua franca of global business, and this way we ensure that students not only obtain competency in their chosen fields of business, but graduate from our college as competent speakers of the English language.

Polytechnic (Diploma) programs: with these programs students can obtain the necessary skills for entry into lucrative jobs with a minimum investment of time; of course, graduates of these programs may at any time upgrade their diplomas with further study in the S1 program at full transfer credit. Within these areas, students have options for specialization in more narrowly defined business functional areas such as Marketing, Human Resources Management and others. Students also have the benefit of receiving a locally recognized S1 degree alongside an internationally recognized Bachelor degree; thus, the programs are particularly attractive for students who have ambitions to work or be active in the international or global arena in the future.
Lastly, our postgraduate program at the S2 or Master level offer a cutting edge curriculum leading to the award of an MM/MBA degree – a ‘must’ these days for any students who aspire to be active in the top management ranks of large business corporations.
To support our claims to the quality of the programs offered, we have recently been accredited by BAN PT with the predicate “B”, thus designating our programs as “Good”.
